Watertown has a musical heritage that has stood the test of time. More than 150 years ago, German settlers brought with them a love for the performance arts. Watertown's Municipal Band plays summer band shell concerts Thursday nights at 7:30pm in Riverside Park. The Watertown Area Chamber Orchestra celebrates the winter season with an annual concert; and the Watertown Concert Series hosts guest performers throughout the year.

There are 16 parks spanning 275 acres in Watertown offering visitors a wide variety of activities including swimming, tennis, volleyball, baseball/softball, basketball, soccer, hiking, picnic facilities, playground facilities, ice skating and much more.
